Sugarplastic Unleashes Demos, B-Sides in Japan
Country's liberal leash laws allow Tamagotchis to run wild and free

Will Bryant reports:
Los Angeles-based pop trio The Sugarplastic have finally released Primitive Plastic, a 15-track collection of rarities and unreleased demos, on Air Mail Recordings in Japan. The collection includes tracks from compilations, out-of-print singles, and even the first-ever Sugarplastic recording, "Euripedes The Jaguar." More than half of the tracks are previously unreleased. Reportedly the new material is "whimsically Beatlesque," a shocking departure from previous Sugarplastic records which were "coquettishly" and "unapologetically" Beatlesque. There are currently no plans to release the collection stateside. Track listing:

02 Dover
03 All Way Down
04 Ode To Home

08 Superball
09 Stephanie
