This version of the Status Quo classic was recorded as a contribution to the NME compilation Ruby Trax. The basic premise was that selected artists were asked to record their versions of former number ones. Ride covered Kraftwerk's “The Model”, The House of Love contributed their version of “Rock You Baby” (a freak hit by some one-hit-wonder artist). Vic Reeves contributed “Vienna” (despite the fact that the song only made it to number two). The Fall covered “The Legend of Xanadu”.
