- August 5, 2008:
- According to a recent article in the Evening Echo, The Franks are planning to release a new single by Christmas and a new album early in 2009.
- November 30, 2007:
- A Renewed Interest in Reading: The Frank and Walters, a new biographical book written by Corkonian character and former postman Jack Lyons, is scheduled to be in the shops by the end of the year.
- October 21, 2007:
- The Frank And Walters are preparing a new live DVD for release on 26 November 2007. The DVD includes a live concert from June 2007 at The Spiegeltent at the Cork Midsummer Festival and a few songs recorded at Whelan's, Dublin, in May 2007. The DVD will be entitled Live in The Spiegeltent, Cork. (Would you live there?)

- The next single from The Frank And Walters is slated to be City Lights, to be released on 26 October 2007.
