The Pooh Sticks Multiple Orgasm album 1991 |
Signed limited edition. Songs 1-9 were recorded live on September
17th 1988 in Trudi Tangerine's basement and have previously been
issued as the album Orgasm on the 53rd & 3rd label. Songs 10-19
are studio recordings made by The Pooh Sticks over the two weekends
immediately following that performance. Originally planned as
Multiple Orgasm, a boxed set of 7" 45s to follow up the successful
Alan McGee set, the release was cancelled in favour of the 53rd &
3rd album.

At least two different coloured covers available. Side one has the
first four tracks, and a locking groove. To hear track five, you
have to pick the needle up and move it to the next groove. Side
two has two grooves, at the outer and inner extremities, separated
by an area with band autographs and stick-figure pictures etched
into the vinyl, and the message “OH NO HERE COME THE POOH STICKS
AND THEY'VE GOT THEIR GUITARS WITH THEM. THIS MEANS THEY'RE GOING
TO MAKE A NOISE AND BE ALL HORRIBLE!” WELL GO SUCK MUSIC LOVERS WE
JUST DON'T CARE!!! Inner sleeve has cartoon The Incredible Story of
FIERCE! These songs were first issued as a boxed set of one-sided
45's in June '88.
Some copies include a sticker: “Includes all the EARLY FUNNY

Contains the songs from the Singles Box Set and the first single.
Limited edition of 500 copies. Originally issued in slimline jewel
box without a booklet. Later copies were issued in a 7" box with a
6-page booklet. The cover of the box features a nude Hue posing
with his arms behind his head and bears the legend “support the
power of Pooh Stick / use the power of man / support the flower of
Pooh Stick / use the word: / FUCK / the word is love”.
