The Belles cover “My Drug Buddy” on their Never Said Anything single (C5 2004.04.05 UK Eat Sleep EAT006CD). Clairmel cover “Anyway” on the compilation album No Idea 100 : Redefiling Music (CD 2002 US No Idea 100).
Evan Dando is allegedly in a supergroup — featuring Melissa Auf Der Mar, James Iha and Ryan Adams — called The Fucking Virgins.
Evan Dando played bass and a little bit of drums on the debut album for Tom Morgan's band Tofu Cock, subsequently renamed The Give Goods.
Evan Dando co-wrote the song “You Were the Last High”, performed by The Dandy Warhols and released as a single (C5 2003 UK EMI CDCLDJ845) and on their album Welcome to the Monkey House.
Evan Dando wrote a song called “This Is The Song Only Young Girls Can Hear” on the album Lost The Spirit To Rock'n'Roll by Sneeze (2001 CD/LP AU Half-A-Cow HAC96). He drummed on their late '90s American tour.
Fred Haring sings his song “A Prayer for Evan Dando” on his album This Grand Parade (CD 2000 US Grandma Katherine's Music/Blue Rose GKM 72772). Alan Licht released an album called The Evan Dando of Noise? (CD 1997 US Corpus Hermeticum ?). The Elevator Drops perform a song “Be a Lemonhead (Beautiful Junkie)” on their album Pop Bus (CD 1996 US Time Bomb TBOMB43504). Kathleen Hanna performs a song entitled “I Wish I Was Him (for Evan Dando)” on the Rock Stars Kill compilation (LP 1994 Kill Rock Stars KRS221). Adam's Farm perform their song “It's a Shame About the Lemonheads” on their album Rock Music Machine (CD 1994.04.01 Rainmaker ?).
Mick St. Michael wrote a book entitled The Lemonheads, (1994 UK Omnibus ISBN 0.7119.4165.3). It purports to be a photographic history of the band.
The Lemonheads left Atlantic Records in 1997. In retaliation, Atlantic Records released a Lemonheads collection entitled The Best of The Lemonheads: The Atlantic Years. 12 songs you've heard before. In Europe the collection includes 19 songs, and in Japan, 21.
Jesse Peretz is now pursuing a career as a director of films and music videos. (Did his first feature film First Love, Last Rites debut at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival?)
Evan Dando has a small role in the film Heavy (working title Upstate Story), which opened in the USA on 13 July 1996. He plays a mechanic. He performs two songs in the film (songs which he didn't write). The film also stars Liv Tyler, Debbie Harry and Shelley Winters.
Evan Dando has a small role in the film Reality Bites (1994). He plays an actor named “Roy”.
Evan Dando plays on some Australian compilation albums like Totally Wireless, as well as numerous Godstar records, featuring Nic Dalton, onetime Lemonheads bassplayer, Tom Morgan, Smudge-ist and co-writer of “It's a Shame About Ray”, Alison Galloway, Smudge-ist & the one who's starting to happen, and Robyn St Clair, Hummingbird bassplayer. Also, Evan was involved with some of the Smudge records. This discography does not attempt to fully catalogue either the Smudge or Godstar releases. That said, you might want to check out the Half A Cow website at “http://www.halfacow.com.au/”. Two different versions of “The Outdoor Type” are performed by Smudge on their collection Mo Poontang (CD 1999? AU Half A Cow ?) but Evan Dando does not perform.
TAANG! Records had this to say in their CD re-release of Lick:
There was even talk once again of scuttling the whole Lemonheads project. But then came a solution, so bold, so audacious, that only now has TAANG! dared tell the entire story. And that tale is available only on Lemonheads, “The Metal Years” — previously unreleased material coming at you in a special TAANG! Boxed Lemonheads Set.
Promotional videos have been filmed for the following songs:
Second Chance
Mallo Cup
Luka
It's a Shame About Ray
Mrs. Robinson
Being Around
Hannah and Gabi
Rockin' Stroll
My Drug Buddy
Half The Time
Confetti
It's About Time
The Great Big NO
Into Your Arms
Big Gay Heart
If I Could Talk I'd Tell You
My Hero Zero
The band legally changed their name to The Lemonheads before the release of Come On Feel The Lemonheads in 1993.
TAANG! Records threatened to release Taang! Box Set in early 1995, a box set containing "1 CD of the best of TAANG! Lemonheads, 1 disc of rare live Lemonheads, another disc of Lemonheads-like music — i.e., Godstar, Proud Scum's ‘I am a Rabbit’ (stuff that inspired them) — plus other side project tunes, and then some rarer studio stuff...", but it never happened.
Evan Dando has appeared on MTV Unplugged and MTV Modern Rock Live supporting Tony Bennett along with Elvis Costello and J. Mascis. However, it appears that their song was omitted from both the video and soundtrack CD.
Corey Loog Brennan's band Loog has released an album Meltdown House (CD 96.01 BE Survival/Solid/Jupiton), featuring Corey Loog Brennan (guitar), Chris Brokaw [ex COME] (drums), Alex Vira [ex Boston's MELTDOWN] (bass), and Dana Everson (vocals). Also appearing are Imke Wagener [from Germany's SIMT] (backing vocals), Chris Guttmacher [ex BULLET LAVOLTA, ex CUL DE SAC] (drums), and Clay Tarver [ex BULLET LAVOLTA, now with CHAVEZ] (guitar). The LP is produced by Wharton Tiers [producer of DINOSAUR JR., SONIC YOUTH, HELMET, etc.].
Pods, featuring Ben Deily and his brother Jonno, are now defunct. Pods had two releases: It's a Bummer About Bourbie (4-song 7" E.P. on Stone Records), and Where I'm Calling From (16 song CD and cassette). For more information on Pods releases, contact <joshpick@hotmail.com>. Ben has a band called Varsity Drag, visit their website at bendeily.com/id10.html.

Please do not ask me where to find rare recordings, bootlegs, videos, or other releases listed in this discography. Please do not ask me where you can get scans of artwork for these releases. This discography is a list of releases that have been made available over time, not a list of my personal collection. Just because any given release is listed in this discography does not mean that I own that release, nor does it indicate that I am willing to trade, sell, or make tape copies of that or any other release. If you are looking for such recordings, try attending record shows, reading collector magazines, and hunting in used record shoppes.
While the existence of unauthorized recordings may be documented herein, I cannot advise on the legality of such recordings, nor can I advise where such recordings can be obtained.
All singles and EPs have a picture sleeve (p/s) unless otherwise noted. Unless otherwise noted, CDs come in a standard jewel-box and CD-singles come in a slim-line jewel-box. An “obi” is the paper strip (literally, the “sash”) that comes wrapped around most Japanese LPs and CDs.
Song authorship is denoted by names enclosed in braces, e.g., “{Blegvad/Moore}”. Where possible, the name of the lyricist appears first.
Information flagged with a question mark has not been verified (a guess, a rumour). If you have further information about these or other related releases or if you can supply missing artwork, please write me.
Many CD track times were found using my compact disc player and the time indicated on your CD player may vary slightly (± 1-3 seconds), due to the way different machines calculate track times.
